Penta initiated its activities in Bahia Blanca in December 1976, to manufacture and commercialize electronic equipment of control. It gradually oriented towards the manufacture of metal detectors for quality control and machine protection.

In 2016, Penta celebrated its 40 years of existence in its new and recently launched industrial plant, which will allow guaranteeing continuity and growth according to the demanding requirements of the market.

A constant policy of reinvestment in development and technological innovation has allowed Penta to expand its offer of equipment and incorporate systems which combine metal detection, dynamic weighing, and packaging.

Since 2004, Penta is the leader in the Argentinian metal detector market and exports regularly to more than 10 countries.
